Who we are

Starrly is a review management tool for UK small businesses, operated by Starrly (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can contact us at hello@starrly.uk.

What data we collect

We collect only the minimum data needed to provide the service:

• Account information — your name and email address when you sign in via Google OAuth.
• Google Business Profile data — review text and star ratings from your connected Google Business Profile, used solely to generate AI replies.
• Authentication token — stored locally in your browser to keep you signed in. Never shared with third parties.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Chrome extension

The Starrly Chrome extension:

• Operates only on business.google.com
• Reads review text solely to generate AI reply suggestions
• Stores only your authentication token in chrome.storage.sync
• Does not track your browsing, collect personal data, or execute remote code
• Does not sell or transfer any data to third parties

How we use your data

• To generate AI replies to your Google reviews
• To manage your subscription via Stripe
• To send transactional emails (receipts, account notices)

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with any third party except Stripe (payments) and Anthropic (AI reply generation — review text only, no personal data).

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@starrly.uk. We will delete your data within 30 days.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Email hello@starrly.uk and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use only essential session cookies required to keep you signed in. No tracking or advertising cookies.
